About this event
General overview of the Resilient Hampton Initiative and current/future adaptation projects with Olivia Askew. Olivia is a long time 757 local – growing up in Yorktown, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Architecture with a degree in Urban and Environmental Planning and a concentration in Sustainability, Olivia worked as a City Planner and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst in the Atlanta-metro area. She happily returned home to the Hampton Roads area to work as a city planner for the City of Hampton, then transitioned to her current role as a Resilience Officer, working with the Resilient Hampton Initiative. She is responsible for overseeing many different facets of the Resilient Hampton Initiative, including planning and policy implementation and project management.
The presentation is about 25 minutes long and then there will be time for Question and Answers.
